FAQ
Find answers to frequently asked questions about MindBridge.care – like how it’s so affordable, who can use your membership and more!
How do we keep our rates so low?
MindBridge.care was founded by Howard (Howie) Gerver in memory of his son Adam, who faced mental health challenges for 17 years (read more about his story here). We believe that cost should never be a barrier to quality mental healthcare. That’s why Mindbridge is self-funded—free from investor pressure—and partners with established mental health provider networks to keep costs low without compromising care. The result? A trusted, high-quality mental health solution for you and your entire household that remains affordable—because getting the right support shouldn’t be a privilege, but a lifeline.
I am new to counseling – where should I start?
Good question! You are not alone. A good place to start taking our “What’s Best For Me?” questionnaire – Simply answer a few survey questions (takes about 3 minutes) and it will provide a personalized mental well-being roadmap with recommendations based on your response.
What if I just need to talk to someone that will listen?
Did something happen to you, a family member, or someone you care about? No matter how big or how small, if it’s important to you, then it’s important to us. Our Master’s level counselors are here for you. Need to discuss it now? Our “Let’s Talk Now” service doesn’t require an appointment.
What types of care can I get?
MindBridge.care offers 24/7 health coaching, counseling sessions, psychiatrist sessions (all states coming in 2025), digital group therapy, and self-care. Your MindBridge.care account also includes thousands of exercise, yoga, and meditation classes, nutrition webinars, pet telehealth screening and so much more.
What type of medications are prescribed?
Medications include anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications as well as medications for ADHD and other common conditions. Narcotics and some other medications are not prescribed. Please note MindBridge.care will refer you to our psychiatric nurse practitioner partner which costs extra. In the event you don’t have the money to pay for your care MindBridge.care also offers treatment scholarships to qualifying individuals.
